These local awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of Bristol-based businesses – and we couldn’t be prouder to be sharing this honour with some of Bristol’s most exceptional businesses.
Loom competing in Technology & Innovation category
The awards will take place on the 11th April 2019, and Loom will compete as a finalist in the Technology and Innovation category.
This category celebrates businesses that offer services with a digital focus, such as developers, app builders, product developers, designers, and digital marketers.
Tightly contested, the award entries were assessed by a panel of completely independent judges. In fact, this year saw a record number of entries received, making this achievement even sweeter!
The Bristol Life Award nomination process
In order to become a finalist, we had to demonstrate what is unique, innovative and distinctive about Loom.
So, we homed in on our unique integrated digital marketing service, and how we cater it to our client’s individual needs. Included in this was a collection of recent testimonials from our clients which highlighted the amazing work we have done for them.
We also explained that we really get to know our clients, stressing how we always go above and beyond to find the right marketing solution for every business we work with. We also spoke about the genuine passion and commitment our team has when it comes to delivering this service.
We were also asked to demonstrate what made last year a stand-out year for us. After such a positive 2018, we were fortunate enough to be able to share some really special successes with the judges. (You can take a look at these, here, too!)
And lastly, we needed to show how our business contributes to and benefits the local area.
We explained the amazing work our team does with Illominate, our initiative that delivers digital skills to the next generation of digital professionals in Bristol. We also spoke about the funds raised for local charities such as Bristol Mind and St Werburghs city farm.
“Becoming a finalist in the Bristol Life Awards is a genuine honour! To be recognised among the very best of Bristol businesses really highlights the amazing work our team does, and the passion we have for our local community. We are thrilled. Congratulations to all the other finalists!”
Karen Pearce, Director of Client Strategy
The winners will be revealed at a glamorous awards dinner at Lloyds Amphitheatre on the 11th April. We’ll be keeping our fingers well and truly crossed!
